Yesterday, we spent the day at The Marketplace at Bull Run High School, in Ashburn. I consider the day to be quite a success. A "thank you" to those of you who stopped by to visit us. We enjoyed talking with you and introducing you to our business, and look forward to working with you in the future! Here are a few pictures from our display!

We've Been Boo-ed!

I absolutely LOVE Fall! But, if I'm being one hundred percent honest, Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays. So, I don't go overboard decorating for it in our home. And, since I have two little boys at home, ages 4 and 2, who are excited about pumpkins and such, I like to find other ways to be festive! Carving Jack-O-Lanterns, buying costumes, and baking pumpkin cookies are always a must! This year, we also made a little treat for my 4 year old to take into his preschool class. We made ghosts out of Tootsie Roll Pops, and tied them to these cute little pumpkin straws that I found at my local superstore. I added a little "Happy Halloween" tag so that everyone would know who they are from! These ghosts were easy enough for my son to help me with, and he is so excited about giving them to his friends. They would make wonderful favors for a Halloween Party, as well.

With October drawing to a close and the holidays just around the corner, it is a perfect time to think about Holiday Cards. You will have numerous photo opportunities over the next few weeks to capture perfect pictures of your family. And with all you have to do during the holiday season, it is never too early to get this item checked off of your "to-do" list.

Picture Frames

Here is a little close up of the picture frames sitting on the "Pretty & Pink" table below!

They are absolutely perfect as place cards, party favors, or used to display a picture of the guest of honor during your celebration. In addition, they make lovely gifts for family, friends, or teachers. These custom made frames can be decorated in any color scheme and for any occasion! Pretty and Pink

When deciding on the theme for any party or celebration, it is important to me that the decor reflect the nature of the occasion and the guest of honor themselves. The Birthday Girl coming to this table loves PINK!

This table is simply set with white dishes upon a light pink table cloth.

Handmade picture frames in various floral patterns are sitting at each seat as a place card. The guest will be able to take these home with them at the end of the celebration and use them to perhaps display a picture of the day and create a perfect memory.

End of Summer Bar-B-Q

With the Labor Day weekend fast approaching, it is time to fire up the grill with family and friends and celebrate the end of a fantastic summer! What better way to give your guests a hint of the fun they will be in for when they join you. This bright red charcoal style grills, lays atop red and white gingham papers on a white card.

With August drawing to a close, and school starting in just a few short weeks, it is only fitting that we start thinking ahead to the holiday season. This year, we have chosen to host a booth at The Broad Run Marketplace, in Ashburn, VA. Please come by to visit us, and see what we can offer you for your holiday parties. Not only will we be selling our custom created and hand adorned stationery, but you will also have the opportunity to purchase from our selection of party and home decorations, which on their own maybe lovely gifts for teachers, family and friends. If you are looking for something in particular, we will be happy to listen to your ideas, and fashion something exclusively for you! We look forward to seeing you! A Hippity Hoppin' Happening

Yesterday was the Pool Party celebrating the birthday of two little boys, turning ages 2 and 4. As you can see from the pictures, the party was all about FROGS! And, it was a complete SPLASH, if I do say so myself! The pool provided easy entertainment for the group. Bright green plastic buckets were filled with pool toys and awaiting each child upon arrival. Pizza was served for lunch, and the candles were lit upon blue iced cupcakes, decorated with green chocolate frogs!

Welcome Baby Designs!

I know of quite a few people that are expecting a new addition to their families in the coming months. So, I am working on a collection of designs that could be used for Baby Shower invitations or adapted into Birth Announcements, once the little ones arrive.

These cards are going to be simple and sweet!

Hop On Over for a Pool Party

Over the past couple of days, we have been working on a shared Birthday party for two little boys, turning ages 2 and 4. As it is to be a pool party, the theme was decided on fairly quickly. We are happy to say that the invitations are completed, and many of the ideas have been put into motion. We are, however, hitting one "little" snag concerning securing the actual pool! So, there could be a few changes on the horizon.
